<p>PURPOSE:To record an index signal with simple constitution for a VTR, etc., used for a tracking at the time of a reproduction by recording plural pilot signals together with information signal. CONSTITUTION:Besides a recording area for a video signal, one of plural pilot signals is recorded as the index signal. Therefore, corresponding to each recording head, pilot signal generating circuits 2 and 3 are provided and recorded by mixing them into the video signal. At the time of the reproduction, a regenerative signal is sampled in the center of a part other than the above-mentioned recording area and the index signal is identified.</p> |
