Integral connector and motor housing

A motor (1) with a hollow housing (50) with an open mouth defined by a side wall (51), and a cover (5) for its mouth, an electrical motor circuit and power conductors electrically connected to the circuit at one end and adapted to be connected to a source of power at another end, has, when it is assembled, a current supply connecter receptacle (80). The housing (50) has integral with it, a housing receptacle part (101) with conductor-receiving seats in which the power conductors are seated. The cover (5) has a cover receptacle part (102) integral with the cover (5). The cover (5) is latched into position, closing the housing mouth and completing the receptacle (80), by at least one deflectable finger (110), one end of which is integral with one of the cover (5) and housing (50) and a free end of which is provided with a latching lip (112), and a complementary ledge (121) integral with the other of the housing (50) and cover (5), the ledge (121) being spaced and shaped to receive and be engaged by the lip (112). Provision is made for permitting the lip (112) to be displaced from the ledge (121) to free the cover (5). Preferably, two fingers (110,110), both integral with the cover (5), are provided, ledges (121) formed on the housing receptacle part (101).
