<p>A moulded capacitor module (22) comprises a plate (50) moulded of conductive material e.g. conductive natural or synthetic rubber EPDM or elastomeric, a second plate (52) moulded of conductive material as in first plate and parallel to and spaced from first place, an insulating material (66) moulded e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene monomer copolymer or elastomeric between the plates, contacts coupled to respective plates for connection to other circuit components. Pref. the insulating material is silicone rubber. Also claimed are (a) stackable moulded capacitor modules; and (b) a high voltage cable terminator and a suspension insulator comprising at least two stackable moulded capacitor modules.</p> |
