<p>A method for acquiring and processing a satellite earth observation image by means of at least one CCD detector array or strip moving past an observation area, wherein a plurality of pixels are acquired and quincunx sampled. The row and channel pitches of the quincunx sampling are such that the image spectrum is mainly located in a region of the Fourier plane where the modulation transfer function is significant and aliasing is limited.</p> |
