<p>Benzothiazole, rectified with the use of distillation, is reacting with zinc chloride in the molar ration closed to 1 : 0,2 up to 0,6 in water environment or a mixture of water with an inert organic solvent also can be used, at the temperature of 5 Celsius degrees to the boiling temperature of the reaction mixture and a complex compound being created, as a result of this reaction, is undertaken to the destructive agent acting, while the same conditions are kept, and the mentioned destructive agent is related to the group containing alkaline or ammonium carbonates, hydrogen carbonates, phosphate, sulphides and hydrogen sulphides, hydroxides of alkaline metals and water soluble salts of 2-merkaptobenzothiazole, and the insoluble part of a liquid phase is removed of the mixture, and benzothiazole is isolated with the use of distillation. The used organic solvent together with zinc chloride may be returned and used in the subsequent process cycle, after having regenerated.</p> |
