PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge pyrite in a pyrite hopper without a bridge phenomenon. SOLUTION: This device has a pyrite hopper 19 having a cone part 23 and storing pyrite P, a gate valve 24 provided at the bottom of the cone part 23, a jet propulsion pump 25 for carrying the pyrite P discharged from the gate valve 24 with the jet water 28 jetted by a jet water pump 26, a high pressure water pipe 34 for branching the jet water 28 jetted by the jet water pump 26, first jet nozzles 37a, 37a' which open downward inside the cone part 23 with a slant angleαto the axis S of the cone part 23 and are joined to the high pressure water pipe 34 via a first open/close valve 39a, and second jet nozzles 37b, 37b' which open inside the cone part 23 with a slant angleαin the direction opposite to the first nozzles 37a, 37a' and are joined to the high pressure water pipe 34 via a first open/close valve 39b.
