PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cactus excellent in appreciation. SOLUTION: A globular cactus 1 comprises a succulent and almost spherical trunk 2 on which edges 2A are radially formed and prickles 3 on leaf axils of the edges 2A as pedestals of prickles. The plural prickles 4 are derived from the prickle organ 3. The stem-trunk 2 is green as a plant body, while prickles and prickles are colored in red, black, etc., and express an aesthetic feeling like a glossy manicure. The outer layer of the trunk is a water-repelling cuticula layer. |
