PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chat system that makes expression of intention and feeling of a speaker and specification of the speaker easy. SOLUTION: When a chat client receives a message consisting of a nickname 201 of a speaker, speech contents 202, a user ID 203 and a blowoff shape number 204, he retrieves a color table 301 on the basis of the user ID and retrieves a shape table 302 on the basis of the blowoff shape number. The nickname and the speech contents are displayed in the blowoff shape of the retrieved color.
