PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance display system, whereby points to be regarded for the driving on a route from a departure point to a destination can be easily recognized. SOLUTION: A memory 25 in a computer 20 stores map data, point data and link data, a mouth 11 or keyboard 12 is used to input data specifying a departure point and destination, a controller 28 retrieves link data tying the departure point to the destination from the memory 25, link data with points respectively set as departure points every point tied by each link data are retrieved and points that the no. of the link data with points respectively set as departure points is over specified value are extracted. By the controller 28, pictures of point names based on point name data in the point data of the extracted points are picture data based on map data stored in the memory 25 and displayed on a displace scope of a display 13, together with pictures of enhanced points. |
