FIELD: fish breeding, in particular, growing of young fish to stage at which physiological and exterior peculiarities characteristic of migratory fish are developed. SUBSTANCE: method involves using exterior factor-linear somatic criterion as factor of appearance, and salt tolerance and acetylcholine esterase as ecologic-physiologic factor; developing mathematical dependences between these factors; determining on the basis of obtained data optimum age and/or weight of young fish ready for delivery into natural basins. EFFECT: increased efficiency in artificial fish reproduction by forming migratory fish ecologic-physiologic factors. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
