PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration with the lapse of time in a shape preserving property and tackiness by molding a part, with which a sealant body part is integrated, of a non-polar TPE composition containing process oil and molding the sealant body part of a butyl group sealant containing an ester group introducing plasticizer. SOLUTION: A sealant body part 18 securing a sealing property with a body sheet metal 22 is integrated with a weather strip main body 12, and an end molding part 16 in the weather strip main body 12 is molded of a non-polar TPE material. In this case, desired softness can be hardly obtained by a TPE simple substance alone, so that process oil is usually included for regulating hardness. The sealant body part 18 is basically constructed of a base material wholly/principally consisting of butyl raw rubber, a tackifier containing liquid polybutene and another petroleum resin and the like, and an inorganic filler such as calcium carbonate and carbon black. In addition, the sealant body part 18 also contains an ester group introducing plasticizer. Consequently, deterioration in a shape preserving property and tackiness can be prevented. |
