PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt an indicator means informing mother of urination in a throwaway diaper in which a ventilation liquid impermeable plastic film is used for its rear sheet. SOLUTION: In a throwaway diaper 1 in which a drawn ventilation liquid impermeable plastic film having light transmittance of 30 to 70% and containing inorganic particulates is used for its rear sheet 3, an indicator means 18 is arranged between the rear sheet 3 and an absorptive core 4. In the indicator means 18, an ink layer 19 surfacing when wetted, a masking portion 22 located between the ink layer 19 and the rear sheet 3 and covering the ink layer 19 contains a surfactant.
