PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new system and method used for appropriately positioning a cable at the part of a bone, especially around a vertebra, so as to stabilize the spine while performing a spine reconstructing and fixing operation. SOLUTION: The new system and method used for appropriately positioning the cable at the part of the bone, especially around the vertebra, so as to stabilize the spine while performing the spine reconstructing and fixing operation are presented. The system is composed of the cable dedicated to the spine reconstructing operation, the ligation loops and hook loops of various sizes for easily forming the loop of the cable around the spine and the vertebra and a tension device for fixing the cable around the vertebra at a prescribed tensile force value. The new method for hooking the cable around the vertebra so as to stabilize the spine is disclosed as well.
