RECEIVED FAX MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a received FAX management system that automatically sorts FAX documents such as order documents and memo documents received by a facsimile terminal by each destination so as to store them as image data and easily manages character information corresponding to the respective FAX documents together with the original image data. SOLUTION: The received FAX management system consists of a destination recognition means 2 that automatically recognizes the destination of a received facsimile document, an image database 3 that stores image data of the facsimile document received in relation to destination information automatically recognized, a character information database 4 that stores the character information read by an OCR(Optical Character Reader) function from the image data of the received facsimile document, and a retrieval means 5 that retrieves the image database 3 or the character information database 4 through the designation of the destination.
