<p>A method for manufacturing motorcyclist helmets and helmets obtained by said method, comprising the steps of: providing a transparent polycarbonate sheet (1); effecting a silk-screen printing (3) thereon; thermoforming said silk-screen printed sheet (3) to obtain the desired shape; and injecting the polystryrene (11) into the cap; wherein at least one reinforcing member (7), made of fiberglass-carbon or Kevlar, is inserted between the polycarbonate (9) and the polystyrene (11) subsequently injected, and wherein further reinforcing members, made of ABS or nylon, are inserted between said polycarbonate, polystyrene and reinforcing layers (9, 7, 11) in suitable posiitons depenidng on the members) to be mounted onto the helmet (5, 6), such as the straps (17), the visor (23), the chinrest (20), the ventilation device (35).</p> |
