PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which is used for operation parts of various electronic equipment and is excellent in operability and surely operated and electronic equipment using it. SOLUTION: The touch panel is constituted by projecting the intermediate parts of upper and lower substrates 21 and 22, which have upper and lower electrode layers 21A and 22A opposite at a specified intervals, upward in a dome shape; and then malfunction is reduced and the operability is excellent.
