<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base paper for molding processing having good moldability free from causing a crack, an unevenness at the folded part on a base material at the time of press molding, and high productivity, suitable for the press molding and comprising a pulp as a main ingredient, a paper container by deep drawing (a deep drawn container) capable of being applied to applications such as a relatively deep tray and cup, especially the paper container excellent in smoothness at the flange and a lightweight paper container subjected to deep drawing and having high stiffness without causing phenomena such as a swelling at the body and the bottom. SOLUTION: This base paper for molding processing satisfies the following four conditions of (1) to (4): (1) tensile strength (JIS-P8113) is >=2.0 kN/m; (2) elongation at break (JIS-P8113) is >=1.5%; (3) critical compressive stress defined by the formula of (A/B) is within the range of 1-10 MPa (wherein, A denotes compressive strength measured by JIS-P8126; and B denotes the area of the loaded part of a test piece when measuring the compressive strength); and (4) compressive deformation is >=10% when applying >=20 kgf/cm2 of compressive stress to the thickness direction.</p> |
