PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, in a transfer fence which is thin, and has low rigidity and has a cantilever structure which is easily deflected and elastically deformed in the shifting direction of a paper sheet, and the upper part of a second sheaf of paper sheets after transfer is not returned to the initial aligned and loaded state resulting in the trouble to cause non-feeding, multiple feeding or change of order. SOLUTION: The transfer fence is integrally provided with a paper shifting preventing means for preventing the upper part of a sheaf of paper sheets 3B from shifting backward in collectively transferring the sheaf of paper sheets 3B to a first paper storing part A. In the paper sheet shifting preventing means, a paper abutting surface 1a with an inclination for correcting shifting of paper sheets as it directs from the lower part to the upper part is provided on the face of the transfer fence 1 on the abutting side to the sheaf 3 of paper sheets 3B.
