PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of adsorption and desorption of fuel gas. SOLUTION: This storage apparatus 10 has an adsorbing material 24 of adsorbing fuel gas and magnetic particles 22 mixing with the adsorbing material. A pair of magnets 30 are fitted with a storage tank 20 sandwiched therebetween. In adsorbing fuel gas into the adsorbing material 24 or desorping fuel gas adsorbed in the adsorbing material 24, the magnet 30 is vibrated to generate a vibratory magnetic field in the storage tank 20. Thus, a clearance serving as a passage of fuel gas is generated around the adsorbing material 24.
