METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MULTI-AIR CONDITIONER WITH CONSTANT SPEED AND INVERTER COMPRESSORS

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a multi-air conditioner is provided to operate a multi-air conditioner in a stable cycle corresponding to a load. CONSTITUTION: A load is detected to select target discharge and suction pressures according to a preliminarily set load. An inverter compressor is operated for predetermined time at the maximum frequency to detect first discharge and suction pressures. After predetermined time, a constant speed compressor and the inverter compressor are operated at the same time at the minimum frequency to detect second discharge and suction pressures. Errors between the first and second discharge and suction pressures, and the target discharge and suction pressures are calculated so that an air conditioner is operated at the first or second discharge and suction pressures having smaller errors.
