<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attendance and absence management system which checks attendance and absence of personnel in an organization such as a school and an enterprise and prevents wrongdoing. <P>SOLUTION: A biotechnology information sensing device 101 reads student's fingerprints etc., creates biotechnology information and transmits it, and a biotechnology authentication computer 210 receives and compares this with the biotechnology information in a biotechnology information DB213, reads student ID corresponding to this and transmits it to an attendance and absence management computer.
