PURPOSE:To miniaturize a circuit by performing a time division processing based on musical sound production data with respect to each sound production channel to generate a musical sound signal at the time of executing a sound source processing program and mixing musical sound signals in each of plural output groups. CONSTITUTION:A program executing means 207 normally executes a playing information processing program to control corresponding musical sound production data on a data storage means 206 and performs the time division processing based on musical sound production data on the data storage means 206 with respect to each sound production channel at the time of executing a sound source processing program to generate a musical sound signal corresponding to the sound production channel. Each sound production channel is allowed to correspond to one of plural output groups, and musical sound signals generated in sound production channels included in each output group are mixed to generate a musical sound signal output of the output group. Consequently, a general-purpose processor constitution is realized without requiring a private sound source circuit. Thus, the circuit scale is miniaturized. |
