<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear antenna acquiring proper antenna gain at VHF bands and UHF bands. <P>SOLUTION: A coaxial cable 18 is adopted as a VHF elements 15. An earthing wire side 17 of the coaxial cable 18 is separated by a first inductor 10 and a second inductor 14, and a section between the first inductor 10 and the second inductor 14 is adopted as an UHF element 8. The linear antenna is connected to a signal line 16 from a branch point 11 near a connection point of the first inductor 10 and a first earthing wire 13 via a capacitor 9. A distance 7 from a part near the connection point of the first inductor 10 and the first earthing wire 13 to an earphone jack 6 is set at a value shorter than around 1/8 of the wavelength of an UHF frequency. A spacing 12 between the coaxial cable 18 and a voice signal line 19 is separated several mm or more apart so that they may not stick each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
