The drive has a drive motor (12) e.g. three-phase motor, provided for a working unit (14) e.g. manure distributor, where the three-phase motor is connected with an electronic control system (24). The three-phase motor is interconnected with a three-phase alternator (20) over a frequency converter (22), where the frequency converter is connected with the electronic control system on an input side. The three-phase alternator, the three-phase motor, and the frequency converter form an electrically encapsulated unit (50).
