METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LEAVING A USER DOMAIN IN DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method, a device, and a system for enabling a device to leave a domain in DRM(Digital Rights Management) are provided to move rights object to other device when the device wants to leave the domain by completely collecting rights object stored in the device. A first device requests withdrawal from the domain to a DEA(Domain Enforcement Agent). The DEA searches other devices joining in the domain and generates a list of the searched device. The DEA transfers the device list to the first device. The first device selects a second device from the device list. The first device transfers a domain joining request message to the second device. The second device transfers the domain joining request message to the DEA. The DEA adds the second device to the domain. The second device informs the first device of joining in the domain. The first device transfers the ROs stored in the first device to the second device. The second device informs the first device of RO reception. The first device informs the DEA of RO transfer. The DEA removes domain membership of the first device.
