An outer rotor type motor is provided to prevent a fire or a short circuit of the motor by preventing permeation of moisture into the motor. An outer rotor type motor includes a rotor, a stator(8), and a bracket. A permanent magnet(7) is attached on an inner peripheral surface of the rotor. The stator forms a magnetic field to rotate the rotor. The bracket is installed at a lower part of the rotor to support the stator. A recess is formed on a base of the bracket. A plurality of holes are formed in the recess. The recess is circularly formed around the base. The bracket is composed of an upper bracket(2) and a lower bracket(3).
