PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new material for a heating resistor which makes the control of its specific electrical resistance value easy in a wide range, has a low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) so as to minimize the variation in the electrical resistance value with temperature within a constant range over the use temperature range, and realizes high reliability and a long lifetime by stably maintaining chemical and mechanical characteristics including electrical characteristics while being used repeatedly over a long time.

SOLUTION: The heating resistor is constituted by mixing an electrically conductive oxide having electrical conductivity and an electrically nonconductive oxide having an insulating property or electrical nonconductivity.
