PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing device for achieving a longer life without increasing cost for the vibration absorbing device and restricting the vibration damping performance. SOLUTION: A first mounting part 11 of the vibration absorbing device 10 consists of a cylindrical body 17 having a main liquid chamber 14 and a sub liquid chamber 15 inside, and an outer shell cylinder portion 18 encircling the body 17 at its outside in the radial direction. On the peripheral wall of the body 17, a side face opening portion 28 is formed opening to the main liquid chamber 14 and a plate-shaped second rubber elastic body 29 for closing the side face opening portion 28 is set in the state of being kept air tight from the outside of the outer shell cylinder portion 18.
