METHOD FOR WARNING DRIVER IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for warning a driver, which securely prevents the driver from opening a door 21 and getting out of the vehicle when the driver wrongly recognizes that an igniter is not started when an engine 28 stops while the igniter is started in a hybrid electric vehicle 12.

SOLUTION: In the method for warning the driver of the vehicle in the hybrid electric vehicle 12 provided with the igniter 18 having an active state and a non-active state, the engine 28, and the door 21, the engine 28 is started when it is determined that the door 21 is open and the igniter 18 is in the active state.
