PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of the positioning data which is finally determined by precisely compensating for the delay times of the signals between the autonomous navigation system and each of GPS systems. SOLUTION: This driving state estimating system includes: a GPS-positioning operating means for operating the positioning data in the first sampling cycle based on the GPS signal to output to an estimating means; an autonomous navigation sensor for outputting the observation data in the second sampling cycle which is shorter than the first sampling cycle; and an approximation operating means for approximating the pairs of the observation data outputted from the autonomous navigation sensor within the first sampling cycle to a predetermined linear function. The value of the approximation of the linear function, at a timing when the approximation operating means is substantially in synchronism with the positioning data is set as a value of an intercept. The value of the intercept, together with the value of the slope of the approximation are output to the evaluating means as the autonomous navigation data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
