<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the occurrence of delay by making uniform and irreducibly minimum, as further as possible, the number of times of iterative error-correction decoding in each of error-correction decoding devices when performing error-correction decoding, at a plurality of error-correction decoding devices, upon code blocks more than the number of the devices. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a data decoding device for decoding and outputting coded reception data, comprising: a plurality of error-correction decoding units 15a-15d for performing in parallel error-correction decoding processing on error-correction-coded code blocks; and a controller 10 for changing a code block to perform error-correction decoding processing thereon by each of the error-correction decoding units 15a-15d each time each of the error-correction decoding units 15a-15d performs error-correction decoding processing.
