An error microphone which is used to detect error noise, which is the noise still remaining in a quiet zone in an open space after original noise is reduced by an adaptive active noise canceller, may be optimally installed near a user′s ear. The present invention provides a headworn noise-cancelling error microphone which can be always maintained near a wearer′s ear even when an earphone-wearer moves his or her head. The headworn noise-cancelling error microphone comprises: an error microphone, a communication module, and a power supply module. The error microphone receives residual noise and transmits it to an external device through the communication module. Then the error microphone generates sound with the reversed phase to the residual noise to remove the residual noise by offsetting the residual noise with the generated sound, thereby forming a quite zone near the error microphone. The error microphone, the communication module, and the power supply module are assembled with a headgear. In addition, the present invention provides a noise cancelling device including: the headworn noise-cancelling error microphone; a controller which generates an offset signal having the reversed phase to a noise source by applying adaptive algorithm in accordance with the residual noise detected by the error microphone and transmits the offset signal to a speaker; and the speaker which generates offset waves based on the offset signal. |
