The disclosure relates to an information transmitting method and device and belongs to the technical field of computers, the method comprising: detecting whether a user is at a target site; if the user is not at the target site, detecting whether a door or a window at the target site is open; if the door or the window at the target site is open, transmitting a prompting message to a device carried by the user. The disclosure addresses a problem of inaccurate prompting caused by the user being away from a residence at a time other than a time period in which the user is normally away from the residence, improving prompt accuracy. |
