PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate and protect a surplus length part for work that is provided in a wire of a wiring harness and required for connector connection work, after the work.SOLUTION: Hollow parts of a resin corrugated fiberboard are partitioned by an intermediate connection plate that connects both side outer plates, and extended in parallel. A protective structure for a wiring harness comprises a protective component for a wire surplus length part that is formed from the resin corrugated fiberboard. For the protective component, the resin corrugated fiberboard is cut into a required shape, then folded and assembled. The protective component is a tubular body including openings in both ends and comprises a fitting piece that protrudes from an opening edge at one end side. A wire of a wiring harness is passed through the protective component, the wiring harness is fixed to the fitting piece and the wire surplus length part is accommodated in the protective component while being bent in such a manner that a wire terminal to which a connector is connected can be pulled out of the opening at the other end side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
