PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that detects, while appropriately selecting, clogging of toner in a path to convey a recovered toner and clogging of toner in a recovered toner box.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus transferring an image formed on a rotor to a recording medium, the image forming apparatus using, when recovering a toner remaining on the rotor to a recovery container, a result of detection performed by a sensor detecting a recovered toner recovered to a recovery container and the rotation speed of a motor for driving a load conveying the recovered toner, so as to specify clogging of the recovered toner and the position of the occurrence of the clogging.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7B |
