PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key function management system capable of managing a key function even when the system uses only local communication.SOLUTION: In a portable terminal key system 4 using Bluetooth (R) or NFC, when making a contract of service in which a key function is granted to a portable terminal 3, an expiration date of the service is issued to a memory unit 7 of the portable terminal 3 from a center 20. On the other hand, the location of an own house of a user possessing a vehicle 1 is registered in a terminal authentication ECU 8 of the vehicle 1. The terminal authentication ECU 8 of the vehicle 1, when the user has performed communication with the vehicle 1 using the Bluetooth (R) or NFC, reads an expiration date of service written and stored in the memory unit 7 of the portable terminal 3, and determines propriety of operating the vehicle 1 by the key function of the portable terminal 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
