A cosmetic and/or dermatological composition comprises extracts of mulberry and skullcap (Scutellaria) or their active agents, and a salicylic acid derivative (I). A cosmetic and/or dermatological composition comprises: (1) at least one mulberry extract or an active agent isolated from the extract (A); (2) at least one skullcap (Scutellaria) extract or an active agent isolated from the extract (B); and (3) at least one salicylic acid derivative of formula (I) or its salt. R = H or 2-22C, saturated or unsaturated, linear, branched or cyclic aliphatic chain (optionally substituted by one or more of halo, CF3, OH (optionally esterified by a 1-6C acid) or COOH (optionally esterified by a 1-6C alcohol); R' = OH or -O-CO-R1; R1 = 1-18C, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic group.
