<p>Method for the preparation of bis-isothiourea derivatives of the general formula (I) and their salts with organic and inorganic acids:- where either A = -(CH2)2n- where n = 2 to 14 and R1 and R2 and R1' and R2' are two different lower alkyl groups, alicyclic groups, or same or different aromatic hydrocarbon groups substituted with alkyl groups and containing up to 10 C atoms, or one of the groups is lower alkyl and the other is aromatic as above; or A = -(CH2)n- where n = 15 to 22, or A = N,N'-bis(1-carbonyldecamethylene) piperazine and R1, R2, R1' and R2' are same or different hydrogen, aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic group opt. substd. by alkyl and containing up to 10 C atoms, or the first or second pair of R-groups represent aliphatic hydrocarbon gps. and form a heterocyclic ring with the adjacent -N=C-N- gp.; and R3 and R3' represent same or different hydrogen or a lower alkyl gp. with 4 C atoms; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts of (I) with organic or inorganic acids.</p> |
