The seed or fertiliser dispenser comprises a transport tank (3) mounted on a vehicle chassis and attached to a dispensing mechanism with a storage tank, and a conveyor for conveying the material from the transport tank to the storage tank. The transport tank includes two adjustable discharge means (16) towards which the side and end walls of the transport tank extend conically. The lower-region of the transport tank is divided by a roof-like central member (14) extending in the direction of travel into two sections (15, 15') in each of which is one of the discharge means. The conveyor consists of two screw conveyors each of which is connected to a discharge means. Pref. the roof-like central member is extended to the upper edge of the transport tank by a partition (44).
