Cool air cyclone type classifier for pulverised material - uses air for fine classification between central sifting chamber and outer ring chamber

The vertical axis air classifier has a central sifting chamber which is largely separated by a cylindrical inner housing coating from an outer ring chamber for the division of the refined material. There is also an outside air ventilator driven above the sifting chamber by the central vertical sifter shaft and fitted with at least one cooling air supply to the outer ring chamber and an air outlet in the lower part of the sifter. The cylindrical inner housing coating is made as a double coating (12, 16) into which the cooling air supply (17) leads. The double coating is open at both ends towards the outer ring chamber reserved for the separation of the sifted material.
