A twin pipe supply system, partic. for heating installations has the twin pipe supply consisting of a pair of rectangular cross section pipes attached by the front surface through a non-central rod forming a hollow space, wherein further pipes may be positioned and which has longitudinal holes for attachment or support. Interconnection between the rectangular cross-section pipes and other pipes or heaters is effected through boxes using a slit ring in which the front surface of the rectangular cross section pipes can be inserted into pre-cut holes. Seals in the form of muffs or rings or inset nipples are used. Further sealing rings are also used between the flat outer surfaces of the rectangular cross section pipes.
