Veneeeeering profiled wood mouldings with small radii - using plastic film between veneer and adhesive

Profiled sections ("mouldings") in timber or wood substitutes, having >=1 small radius of curvature, are at least partly veneered including the curved parts, the veneer being bonded to a flexible plastic film which is then glued to the profile. Surfaces with small radius of curvature can be covered mechanically, veneers can be butt-jointed, veneer wastage is minimised, veneer can be pretreated before bonding on.
