<p>The relay with safety contacts is formed by an armature, and spring contact sets containing active and passive contact springs being secured against mutual touching. The active contact springs (9, 13) are guided together in narrow slots (27) of an actuating comb (6). Preferably the difference between the slot width and the thickness of the active contact springs in the slot is smaller than the contact spacing. One side of the actuating comb abuts the armature arm (5), and the opposite side the free end of a leaf spring (18). The slots in the actuating comb may be formed by recesses between two strips, at least the latter being of insulated material.</p> |
