The disposable pocket lamp is manufactured from a thin metal sleeve with a reflector at one end and the on/off switch located on its side at mid-point between the battery end cover and the front lens. The ends of the metal sleeve are curved over to receive the two end covers. The reflector is attached to the lamp body by a ratchet clip with a hollow section formed in the reflector wall and an engaging tongue built on to the sleeve. A groove runs around the body end for ensuring that the reflector is securely attached once the ratchet is engaged. |
