The liq. level in a vat, e.g. of a dyeing or washing machine, is controlled by a sensor in a communicating tube. This governs the frequency of an oscillator and its output is fed through a signal converter to a threshold unit which acts as a comparator. Its desired-value input is connected to resistors which correspond to the desired fluids level.This creates a simple device for automatic control of the liq. level which can be added to existing plant. A manual overriding control can be used for special programs.
