PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small (thin) floor type or wall type air cleaner by shaping a suction panel to have a concave front face where the upper part retracts when the air cleaner is set on the floor. SOLUTION: The body frame 1 is molded of plastic into a substantially rectangular thin box (frame) opening forward. The body frame 1 is made thick (deep) on the lower side and made thin (shallow) on the upper side. Consequently, concave front face inclining obliquely upward slightly as a whole and having retracted central part is obtained and a vent is made in the rear wall of the front recess. An UV-lamp 3 provided with a protector/reflector, photocatalystic sheets 5a, 5b clamped by a catalytic frame, and a dust collection filter 6 filled with active carbon are disposed sequentially in the front recess of the body frame 1 and a suction panel 7 is fitted to the fringe of the opening while covering the outside thereof. |
