The central member of joint 8 may be a closed box-like member of polygonal shape or may be in the form of polygonally-shaped ring. A substantially vertical member 31 extends from joint 8 to a lower joint 33 from which bracings 36 extend horizontally to the lower end of each column 3. Further horizontal and inclined bracings 19, 27 extend between adjacent columns. |
