摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the vapor pressure of a refrigerant before its being sucked in a compressor, decrease the necessary work done for a compressor and as well as enable to supply high temperature hot water by a method wherein a heat accumulator is connected to a operating heat exchanger and the heat stored in said heat accumulator during the time except the time of the operation for hot water supply is supplied to the operating heat exchanger at the time of the operation for hot water supply. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the operation for hot water supply, a four-way valve 2 is changed over as illustrated in the attached drawing with solid line and the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor 1 is led through a valve 2 as indicated by solid line arrows into a hot water supply heat exchanger 3, condensing into the refrigerant liquid as the result of the heat exchange with the cold water within the heat exchanger 3. After that, the refrigerant liquid is flowed only through an unavailing heat exchanger 4 into a throttling unit 6 to be reduced its pressure and then evaporated at the interior of the operating heat exchanger 7. Because, at that time, the heat exchanger 7 is supplied with the hot water stored within the heat accumulator 8 by means of a pump 9, a large quantity of heat can be applied for the evaporation of the refrigerant liquid. Consequently the pressure of the refrigerant vapor leaving the heat exchanger 7 is considerably high as compared with the corresponding pressure emerged in the conventional heat pump type hot water supply system.
