In step 1, a switch is off, and a first charger (C1) charges parasitic capacitance (CS). In step 2, the switch (SW) is kept off and a second charger (C2) charges internal capacitance (CD). In step 3, the switch (SW) is turned on. Then, the charge in the internal capacitance (CD) flows into the parasitic capacitance (CS), and the voltage across the internal capacitance (CD) finally becomes equal to the voltage across the parasitic capacitance (CS). In step 4, the switch (SW) is turned off again, and the second charger (C2) charges the internal capacitance (CD). The voltage across the parasitic capacitance (CS) can be adjusted to a desired value by repeating steps 3 and 4.
