New ¢8-(dialkylamino alkoxy)-caffeine!-platinum complex compounds of the general formula are prepared from 8-(dialkylamino alkoxy)-caffeine and hexachloro platinic acid. The complex compounds are non-poisonous, stable and very durable. In pharmacological test series distinct cytostatic activity of the complex compounds is observed and they are suitable for use as active components in pharmaceutical products.
